I've decided that instead of still trying to be my mother's child, I should be myself. So, instead of trying to be who I was, I'm going to be myself, in all my philosophical glory. Ah well, hopefully she will deal and it won't scare her too badly. I will see how this goes.

What are you planning on doing exactly? This doesn't sound all that good.
Well, for the most part, I've just pretended to be the girl that my mom knew when I was eight. Now I'm just being me, and starting conversations with her that I normally wouldn't start about society and what not.
